Those who have worked directly with asbestos or asbestos products are most at risk of developing mesothelioma, but have found some cases of mesothelioma in people with minimal exposure.

* Welders
What types of products normally contain asbestos?
The following products contain different amounts of asbestos normally. This list includes all products and for general information only.
* Molded or preformed coating used in thermal insulation of pipes and boilers.
* Asbestos sprayed used as fire protection in ducts, firebreaks, panels, partitions, soffit boards, ceiling panels and around the stainless steel work construction.
* Insulating plates used for fire protection, thermal insulation, partitioning and ducts.
* Filled asbestos used in firewalls in the holes in the roof.
* Carton of pulp, paper and paper products used for insulation of electrical equipment, asbestos paper may also be used as a fireproof coating on the plates of wood fiber.
* Products in asbestos cement corrugated and flat sheets that are used as clad roofs or walls, cement products were also used in gutters, rainwater pipes and water tanks.
* Textured coatings (such as Artex).
* Tar roofing material.
* Thermoplastic or vinyl floor.
